New day, new DND plushie update! This character was supposed to be a snow leopard, but even I don’t think it looks like one. I’ll make an actual snow leopard plushie once I place my next fabric order (I’ll get some better fabric for it) and in the mean time I’ll keep using this creature (maybe it’s a wolf?) as a model and have fun making clothes! Today I made a cloak and a leather vest for her. Not everything I’m making will match the snow leopard character but I figure it’ll match some character eventually and it’ll be a good way to show clothes options?

Scale mail experiments got pushed back a day because I was super busy at work today, but I should have scale mail progress to show tomorrow

plushie handmade so intricate! so fun! like a puzzle but not idk I am just missing sewing and tired of sewing on the yarn hair for parrot man lol most of my fabric is already packed up I'll likely keep a couple skeins of yarn out just so I can keep my hands busy because I do not do well when I can't make stuff for a while but like everything else is getting packed up my brother and his family are moving like a week after we move we being my household (my dad my other brother two dogs and me) which means more than half the family will be leaving California almost all at once? my mom is pretty sad about it because she's not moving but I'm hoping she'll end up moving to tennessee too

It’s all very California-specific but it’s also just beautiful art of plants and animals that live in California and once I move I will definitely be buying more (I need some of that art on my walls oh my goodness)

Here’s the parrot man I keep talking about! He’s a character from a book my friend is writing and his hair is about half done; it won’t be styled before I send it because the friend it’s intended for also has sewing and yarn skills, and since she’s the author she can style his hair (and add some makeup) so he looks exactly how she wants

You were all correct I love the giant frog and would absolutely 100% make one if I weren’t A. about to move and B. without my sewing machine at the moment

the person behind the yarn I am genuinely delighted and slightly baffled I had not realized my...personality? likes and dislikes I guess? come across so strongly on this blog I have never had someone send me a post they thought I'd like that I didn't like that is not a challenge lol please don't try to find things I dislike and send them to me I will also probably be kinda slow responding to messages for the next few weeks because I am packing packing packing and cleaning so much to get ready to move my current household is only three people but we've kind of accumulated stuff from everyone who moved out and then just like...never really went through it so there's a looooot of downsizing to do we are making good progress! it just takes time and effort I'm not even done with the new leverage yet I've only seen episodes 1-3 the top three things we just keep finding more of every time we thought we'd found them all are: 1. books 2. yarn and 3. legos every single time we're like 'oh this category of thing has all been found we can start packing it' it's like nope! found more!!!

I’m a little more than a third of the way done with the hair for parrot man, but most of my time and energy is being spent cleaning and packing instead of making plushies (plus, my sewing machine is still not fixed)
